I don't get why I always gotta hear how much you care from other people, or how much you think about it from other people. To me....their words mean nothing even if they tell me it comes from your mouth. Even if you did say it....why can't you say it to my face. I don't like hearing things from people that they hype it saying oh she talks about you, oh she thinks about you....word up if she does all that she can tell me herself. The new year is coming faaast and I don't want nothing holding me back.....whether it means letting this thing go....or letting you go.....the guy doesn't always have to be the one who has to man up. Guys'll actually find it seeeriously attractive if a girl approaches them because it's such a rarity, but anyways....this ish that's going on between us is real talks stupid....it first started off as something stupid and that's your fault real talks. It escalated over something stupid and I admit I didn't need to react the way I did but you kinda provoked it don't ya think? How we got to where we are now I have no clue....but I'm pretty sure it's pretty stupid...and if you cared as much as you said you did or as much as I hear you say you do....this should've been fixed a long time ago....but.....I dunno.....you tell me why it's still the way that it is.....I'm tired of the bs of I think about it every night and ish.....real talks actions speak louder than words.....you gotta back up those "I care's" and ish.....otherwise it's meaningless and you're wasting my time...

I'm not gonna post the song again, but right now I'm just buggin' out to this song and it really suits the situation and the ish I'm going through right now. Not the love ish, but you know the title itself kinda says it all. When we have issues or problems with people we often play the blame game and put it on anybody but ourselves. Sometimes in order for there to be a mutual understanding or for things to get better, one person has to put pride aside and just say it was my fault. Nowadays, people (me included) are too proud to admit that we were wrong and will thing of the lamest excuses and try to convince ourselves that it wasn't our fault that someone else played a bigger part than us or someone else will take care of it. But anyways yeah....back to my rant or whatever....you know it really is a shame to see 2 people who've been through a lot just grow apart over some stupid stuff. Stop playing the blame game and just one person man the f up and just apologize. Now I of all people shouldn't be saying or telling people to do that when I don't do it myself, and I admit I do convince myself with reasons why I don't need to or reasons why it isn't my fault. But I dunno, when I see people who've been through so much and they get mad over real talks silly things, it cheeses me....then the same thing happens to me...but I dunno....maybe I just get paranoid sometimes.....if you're reading this I know I'm kinda talking about random things and ish but.....that's what it is....

What Are Your Plans For Christmas?

So today is Christmas and I find what better way to be gaming with friends and chilling while watching probably the most hyped basketball game this season. Miami Heat will be travelling to Los Angeles to face Kobe and the Lakers, the game is in an hour and a bit. So here's a sneak peak ish with a commercial starring Dwayne Wade which I find pretty funny. If you look closer into the commercial you'll see a snake logo on one of the cars of something representing the Black Mamba and a truck that tries to run him over with a logo that I can't remember what it is but it's green and it represents Boston. So word...enjoy...

Oh man, first the 1 year anniversary....now christmas.....and in less than a week, a new year....I can't take all of this...hahahah I'm JOKING......I'm so ready for this. Christmas is a chance for you to receive presents but at the same time appreciate all the things you have around you and think about the people who are not so lucky to have presents or some people who don't even have food or clothes on their back and a roof on their heads. Christmas, though we sometimes complain we don't get enough presents or the right presents, we should be thankful we get anything at all and really take the time to cherish the people around us while they're still here and just live in the moment. But anyways, not to be a downer haha my bad....MERRY CHRISTMAS...I wish everyone the best and that they live today to the fullest.

So this dude Soul Khan who I was watching was crazy and he had a song playing when they intro'ed him and it was sooo good, so I found it and honestly, really inspiring and relaxing, especially in the state that I'm in right now. So here's to the last 30 minutes of the 1 year anniversary of the blog.

From The Heart: I Need Some New Girl Friends

No not girlfriend, but I need some new friends who are girls in my life. Right now, at this point as I am typing this, I feel I can't turn to nobody but my boys. Something about the women that I become close to, makes me push them away after a while, or maybe it's vice versa. Cuz see I more my heart out when I get close to certain women, but I feel like it's not reciprocated. Like I'm on one side of the wall telling her what's on my heart and what's on my mind and I ask how she's feeling but she gives me a conversation ending reply like okay. I have few women in my life I can turn to for anything, that I consider "wifey material", and that don't mean I like them but it means that's what I look for. But real talks I had an epiphany a few days ago and I started thinking, the girls that I hold close to my heart....I don't even know how they feel about me. I hear ish from their friends and I hear ish around, but I never actually hear it from their mouths. So yeah here I am, talking to girls who I feel are my best friends, people who I can tell anything to, and when I'm done ranting, the convo kinda dies. I realized that the girls I hold close to my heart....do they really feel the same way? I mean they prob have plenty of guys they can talk to and share their emotions to so maybe I'm just part of the bunch. What makes me different....what makes me special. People tell me that she values my friendship and that I'm really important to her, but she sure has a weird way of showing it. I mean she complains that I don't talk to her enough and I'm busy talking to next girls, but then the next day I thought to myself, wait a minute...the same applies to her...maybe she just likes the fact of having a bunch of close guy friends and depending on her mood assumes who shes gonna talk to. That really hurts me seeing as I have very few little female friends I can talk to about anything. So I dunno why I do this, but women have come and gone, but there are a few who are still left who I'm really close to. But to the ones that have gone, they aren't gone out of my life, just we aren't as close anything. I don't get why I get close to a girl and after a while it kinda disappears. I find it's either I like her and then it dies or she likes me then it dies. Why can't I just find a girl to be friends with.....is it really that hard? So that random jump and tangent of topics brings me back to the title of I need new girl friends. The ones I have right now are whack....they bug out over the littlest things, are always there for me (which is good) but I feel they never really need me, or ever hit me up saying hey can we talk. I feel the girl friends I have in my life right now don't value me as much as I value them. Call me homosexual or whatever, but my boys are always there for me and ish of the sort. The girls in my life right now.....*sigh*....I don't even know man....I give them my heart...my soul....and my everything....and I feel they just take it and put it aside, when I ask for something it return like tot alk to me....I get nothing. Woooooow.....so it's actually been 365 days since I created this blog....I actually can't believe it. Wow......that's all I'm at right now, 365 days ago I created this blog and was kinda on and off about it, posting ish whenever I remembered or felt like it. Fast forward to the present where I'm actually posting on a daily basis because I enjoy giving the public a glimpse into my life and I just like sharing my thoughts and feelings with the world. I thank all the people who have ever visited the blog, people who spread the word about the blog and anybody else that has supported me, and taken the time to read and go through all the ish on this site. Real talks I'm not gonna make this too long cuz most people prob don't like reading long posts, but to sum it up continue to visit this site regularly as I will be posting regularly and I promise I will not disappoint you guys. You Ready....?

So if you took the time to watch the facebook video "Bullying Somalia", you would have heard that tomorrow, Dec 15th....is the 1 year anniversary of The Best You Never Heard. I actually can't believe tomorrow marks a year since I created the blog, hollyy....through the ups and downs and even the brief shutting down of the blog, we made it to a year. It wasn't really until like end of summer beginning of uni I think where I really began taking this seriously, but rest assured, this is a ride to the end. I'm cutting this short and leaving the long post for tomorrow hahaha and of course stay tuned for the 1 year anniversary video debuting TOMORROW.

About Me

So I don't think I've ever given some detail about myself and since this being a blog about my life, I think I should do that. So for the people who actually take the time to read each post and not just skim for the music -_-, and for the people who don't already know me that well. I'm currently at York University for Kinesiology, I have no idea what I wanna do with my life afterwards, I have a few ideas like gym teacher, personal trainer, physiotherapist but nothing I'm really chasing for yet. My hobbies range from basketball, music to gaming. Nerds ftw. Nah I'm not a nerd but sometimes I wish I was cuz they make good grades look so easy. I'm like a B+ student at best, but most of the time I struggle to already maintain a B -_-. Luckily my rents aren't your typical asian parents and they simply tell me to do my best but I still love'em with all my heart. I'm your typical guy, kinda...lol. I'm not a party/club person, but I don't mind it, I prefer to just chill with a good group of friends at someones house or something and just have a good time. I prefer a small, tight knit group of friends over a bunch of random acquaintances anyday, which again why I prob don't prefer clubbing and ish. I meet girls the old fashion way, not just going out and hitting on girls at random places. I get to know them and ish like that. I'm an old school romantic I guess, call me lame, whatever -_-. I swear I'm a nerd at heart though, I loooove videogames :), and I love a girl who loves videogames. I don't watch that much tv anymore, but I like the family channel :) LOL. But as well I looove a girl who plays or tries to play sports, doesn't necessarily have to be good. I love a girl who loves music. I don't know what more I can say lol, I like to workout, not to look deezed or to impress people. Just cuz it makes me feel good, it's a good way to relax, I like to be healthy and I guess being deezed and looking good is just an add on. I like to eat but no I'm not fat....well I hope not at least :(. I'm shy with people I don't really know but I believe I'm changing, I guess maybe it's cuz I'm older, I don't really care about what people think of me as much anymore, but I still like to swag up :). I'm not a big shoe fiend, but I'm a big clothing fanatic. Not a big fan of fitteds though people tell me they look good on me. I'm a bit sport fanatic, I think I mentioned it, I'll play pretty much any sport, but only really like watching basketball. I guess I'll just end it off here and maybe I'll do more of these in upcoming posts. If you actually read all the way to here, thanks and keep up the support.

Yeezy puts his heart into every single song and no it's not just crazy cuz he has a million artists featured but because of the work and effort that you can clearly see was put into this album.

Many thought he was just another random dude signed by a big name who wouldn't live up to the hype. But when Kanye West signs you on the spot after a 15 minute freestyle, you know you have something special. Kanye's latest protege Big Sean is a beast. I can't say enough about this dude but he is in my top 5 list of dudes I could bump for days.....check his album out PLEASE.

So I'm taking time outta my project and studying right now cuz I'm heated. Real talks hate is a strong word....and right now I HATE people who loaft, lie to me, and waste my time. What really annoys me is when I tell someone that something is going down and I tell them a month in advance, but 1 week and a bit to the date where we're supposed to do ish, a bunch of excuses and ish comes up that prevents him from doing it. Like are you serious......firstly, I told you a month in advance, secondly you take 5 years to reply or you don't reply at all giving me the impression you don't care.....thirdly, i'm willing to bend my schedules even though I have exams and ish just to fit yours because it's that important to me. That's all for now....I gotta find better people I call "friends"....

So I know this blog has a lot of music and music related ish, but that's cuz music is a big part of my life. Seeing as this blog is a glimpse into my life, I try to show you a variety. So yesterday was Lebron James' HIGHLY anticipated return to Cleveland yesterday. The game ha received MUCH hype and I must say aside from theatrics and crowd, etc....the game was lame...LOOLL I mean like c'mon a 30 point lead in the 3rd quarter...and Cavs fan had the NERVE to still boo and ish when Lebron was tearing them apart. See now if Lebron was a dick....oh man the things he could do to piss them off even more. Besides the infamous "Chalk" thing....he could've taken a page out of John Wall's book and did the DOUGIE...hahha but nuff said, Lebron proved his comments right and his doubters comments wrong. The Cavs DO suck......and sorry Dan Gilbert...I dunno what world you live in where the Cavs are gonna win a title before Miami.

Alright so you prob don't know who they are, and they look like a really corny, lame boyband...or a rip off of Varsity or smt...LOL and for all I know, they could be. But like most boybands, they can sing and they can sing GOOOOOOOOD (good/well, same thing). I first found them on one of my R&B sites a whiiiiilleeee ago and they were called It's L.OVE...why the period in the middle I dunno lol, but the song was called Inside Out. Later on I would find out that there actual name was Menudo, a Puerto Rican boy band. I lost the song a while back and wanted to hear it so bad so I did some research that their name was actually Menudo, that's when I got to downloading more of their songs, which brings me to the post of them being the Artist/s of the week. So I just came back from a church event a while ago and basically it was talking about how the gospel is seldomly heard around asian and countries and how they aren't as privileged as us and what not. Honestly a seriously inspiring, emotional, thought provoking, and amazing event and I'm so glad I went. The message, the worship, the atmosphere....everything was just so real and so amazing and it was all for the glory of God. The speaker was from L.A....Jaeson Ma....who was soo deep and inspirational and emotional and real.....everything he said hit hard, not only cuz he was yelling but because what he said could relate to everyone. I can't say much more about it besides it being an amazing experience and it really rejuvenated my somewhat down spirit of late....it really made me rethink a lot of the things in my life and it really sparked the fuel in my life again and I'm feeling ALIVE all over again.

Alright so most of should know who this dude is from his smash feature "Billionaire" and "Nothin' On You" to his hit singles "Just The Way You Are" and "Grenade". Bruno Mars can really sing and has a unique voice at the same time. He reminds me of the Akon/T-Pain of the coming generation, the dude everybody wants to get on a song because he makes the song better. I kinda feel the same about Ms. Nicki Minaj, but thats a diff story lol. His voice is amazing and like most of the cases that happens when smash feature people try to become stars they usually have one or two hit singles or none at all and then fade back to non existence. But this dude I'm super hoping is different because his voice is just literally amazing. Right now I'm hooked on "Count On Me" and "Today My Life Begins" but real talks his whole album and any song he hops is definitely worth listening to.

I dunno why but lately I've been in a weird mood, really shutting out a lot of the people around me cuz I don't and still kinda don't really feel like opening up. I wouldn't say its depression but it's like something's wrong but I dunno what but at the same time I don't feel like talking about it, I kinda just want to be with my music and my own thoughts, but this song has made me feel better but at the same time comforted me and the lyrics are amazing. Bruno Mars' voice is beautiful and this song defines my life at the moment. "I will break the chains that bind me" cuz I feel like I'm trapped within myself and I can't/won't open up. As well "happiness will find me" as I gotta stop looking and let things play out themselves cuz whatever happens happens for a reason.

Miracles Really Do Happen

So in my moment of randomness, despair and just a lot of mixed feelings, I thought of a story my dad once told me. Now I can't remember exactly but I remember the core of the story. So these 2 brothers are going to a bible camp or something like that I believe. And in the midst of packing, their mom constantly tells them remember to bring your bible. Obv they get annoyed and ish and pack what they believe they need like electronics, games, snacks, etc. Now this camp is a week long or so, so they need money and ish for food throughout the week. They keep bothering their mom about the money while doing last minute packing and she just sayings don't worry about it and keeps saying to remember to bring your bible. So at the camp, they realized their mom didn't give them any money but it was too late cuz she had gone. So they ate the little snacks they had and ish, but obv couldn't survive on that alone. They got upset and angry at their mom cuz all she told them was to remember to bring their bible and didn't bother about the money. So they continued to get upset. One of the brothers I believe prayed about it and asked for strength to survive and courage and wisdom. He decided to open the bible and low and behold, the week's worth of money was in there, with a note attached saying don't forget your bible. Now this story actually really got to me because in life...we put a lot of things ahead of God because we often take him for granted seeing Him as always being there for us. We tell ourselves we can pray later or do it later cuz God's not going anywhere but the thing I'm doing is more important. Real talks in my random mood that I'm in, I really can't and don't feel like talking to many people and so I try my best to pray for strength and guidance through whatever I'm going through. I myself take God for granted and pray to him sometimes only when I need help. I'm at a point in my life where I'm struggling with a lot of things and I need strength to persevere....
