If you're reading this....you'll know it's for you....and that this...will be my last note to you. Cuz lately I've been seeing more of you....but it's crazy how 2 people can be sitting right beside each other....and not say a word. It's not that there's awkward tension or beef (kinda?) but....we just CHOOSE....not to say anything to each other. So this...is my last note to you. Because....I've been thinking....of how close we were....or at least how close I thought we were....cuz apparently...I don't know how you feel.....but I HEAR....you view me the same as well.....but words can get distorted...like the game broken telephone. But anyways.....it's crazy....when I think....how CLOSE we were.....all the talks we've had....secrets we've shared....times we've shared. That.....as of late....it's been slowly....going down the drain. I mean....all the words we've exchanged....things we've told each other....and feelings tossed around back and forth.....that it's come to this.....where the most we get out of each other is eye contact....and if we're lucky a smile. Outside parties have heard our stories and dilemmas from both sides.....and as of late....I don't even know why i was mad anymore....I just know I'm "supposed" to be. And honestly....I don't wanna go through this blog and find what I wrote and start getting cheesed about it again. It was your fault for not trying to talk to me enough....or I dunno.....or it was my fault for blowing it out of proportion....all I know is....I'm not sure if I want to end it the way it is...or keep it going the way it is. I'm not jumping to conclusions or assuming anything...but it just seems....like you really are fine with all of this....that it doesn't seem to phase you at all. I'm tired of thinking of this...I'm tired of stressing over this....i'm tired of.....I wanna say you.....but I'm not tired of you...cuz I think of all the times you were there for me.....and vice versa.....and my friend told me that maybe I should just leave you alone...but still be there....and when you need me...you'll come to me. But i debated.....is she really going to need me.....I mean like....really? She has at least a million friends just like me....so what makes me any special. I have all these thoughts and words in my head right now that I wnana write....but as I continue these rants...I feel like I always lose track of what I want to say. I'll just conclude....my saying that....I can't believe....you were such a big part of my life....and now we're strangers.....peers....but I'm done with all this.....done with all the going around asking how you feel....tired of your friends asking me to do stuff....and seeing how I feel.....I'm just gonna go with the flow....and I put this all in God's hands....that whatever happens happens....cuz it seems like the future....has a lot in store....and I'm not sure what's going to happen....from my pastor leaving....to all my friends leaving for university.....that's just too much to handle....and you.....being the center of all this...somehow everything just reminds me of you and all this....and all we've been through...ALLL the ups....and ALL the downs.....i know that's how strong friendships are built...but sometimes...it's so hard.....and I know that you fight for the people you care for....but sometimes it just doesn't seem worth it. I put this all into God's hands....that he has a plan for you and me......and perhaps one day...we'll meet in the middle.....and when that day comes...I'll be ready for you.

From The Heart: Arguments & Fighting

Not physical fighting no...I read on a friend's facebook status:

‎"You get into the biggest fights with the people you care about the most, because those are the relationships, that you're willing to fight for."

And this hit me so hard....like a first round knockout to the face. There are some people...who when you argue with....you might just be like ok whatever, cuz it's not worth wasting your breath. Or you might just be like, you know what...you're right....just so they'll leave you alone. But actually think about it.....the biggest fights, arguments, debates and misinterpretations are usually if not always with your closest friends. These arguments drag out and you end up thinking about it everyday whether or not the other person is thinking about it too. Both parties are constantly thinking of a) is the person thinking about me b) how should i fix it c) is it over d) what do I do. They go through phases where they harass the other party's best friend and interrogate them trying to find out as much as they can. Why go through so much trouble and such hassle over an argument.....because you care about the person too much to lose them. I dunno....lately I've been doing good...happy, chilling with friends....but I'm still having complications with one friend....I've heard sides and gotten comfort from all possible parties. I know I'm doing some part in trying to keep this alive....cuz I think about it too much to the point where I need to think of other stuff to get it out of my head. But sometimes....you say to yourself....it's like I'm running a neverending race.....I'm never going to finish....why do I keep trying? I don't know where I'm going with this rant....but the more I look at this quote....the more it hits me. You get into the biggest fights with the people you care about the most......because those are the relationships you care the most for....and can't afford to let die. That's what seperates your best friends from your acquaintances...the effort you and the other person make. If one person is giving their all and you're not reciprocating....then that's not a real friendship....and I guess that's what this whole dilemma I have with my friend is all about. It's been so long...I don't even know why I'm mad....I just know I am.....I've written too many heartfelt, painful and passionate letters and poems about this....to just "sweep it under the carpet" cuz eventually....the carpet gets full....and slowly but surely all the problems come spilling out....which is why I want to FIX it....not LEAVE IT...and pretend it never happened.....why don't we just pretend we don't know each other as well....anyways I've hit a dead end....gonna leave it at that....but that quote.....still gets to me....

Derrick Rose is my favourite player...and no I'm not a bandwagoner...but real talks....he's so much more than a basketball player...and that's only one of the reasons why I admire him. His attitude and his personality...his humble swagger....is inspiring. He looks up to his mom and is hte youngest of 3 older brothers. He says that whenever he has a bad day....he thinks about his mom...and her bad days, unable to pay the bills....and he tells himself that his bad days shouldn't be so bad because he's doing something he loves....playing basketball....now that's a real MVP right there.

I feel sooo goood right now...just went to an ultimate tournament with 5 -6 other teams and we finished 5-1 and made the playoffs and won the whole thing. Our team faced tiredness, laziness, injured (reinjuring my rolled ankle), one of our teammates left, we doubted ourselves and our ability....but we persevered. We were 5-0 going into out last game which we lost, making us 5-1. We won our semi final match and advanced to the finals facing the team that beat us in the round robin. We started off sluggish...giving them a 2-0 lead....with many breaks and checks for minor injuries...we persevered...came back and tied the game up at 2-2. We...including myself at some points, really didn't think we could do it....but the more I looked at the other team, I told myself....we gotta win this, not for the prize....not for the bragging rights, but I guess cuz I hate to lose....specially when I know we can win. We ended up winning 4-3 or 3-2? Time had expired and next point won....we found ourselves on a transition offense with their defense fumbling to find their man....I picked up the disk and threw a laser to one of the girls and she caught it....I put my hands up and...it was over....the pain....doubt.....everything....was worth it. I love my team....wouldn't trade'em for anyone else.

From The Heart: Letting Down My Guard

I'm afraid of you....I dunno why, but whenever I talk to you..I feel a need to put up a guard...to protect myself from...getting too involved with you, from getting too attached to you, from getting too into you, from getting hurt. The past is the past....but it still lingers in the present...and whenever I talk to you, I gotta put up a front...and be cold/stiff towards you. I can't be gentle and emotional and let myself go at you...cuz I don't know how it'll end up, I don't know how we'll end up. But every time we talk....the plan is going great, I'm not too detailed, pretty formal and pretty simple...but the longer we talk...the more longer my responses get, the more passion is put into them....the more thought is put into each reply while thinking ahead of your reply as well. As I begin to talk to you more...I slowly begin to let my guard down...because it feels right...my security doesn't see you as a threat...and I slowly, but surely....let you into my life...and share with you my life...all over again. But as time goes on....there are the times where reality brings me back down to earth...and I realize that....it's deja vu all over again....like me and you have had these conversations before...and I let my guard down before only to get hurt and push you away, but you kept coming back...and I kept letting my guard down. I dunno what you have over me....that keeps allowing you to come back to me and me with open arms. I feel like an NBA player who starts off hot...but isn't clutch and can't close out games. I tell myself I'm going to be careful when talking to you, but after a while....I just feel so comfortable and it feels so right and I start to let go of it and be myself around you and we start to get more intimate. Right now i'm in the 4th quarter....and you came back and took the lead from me...my defense was slacking and you took advantage. It feels right when I'm talking to you...but some of your habits I just can't get over...and I don't wanna get hurt...but being with you feels right...but at the same time it feels wrong.
