You know...we haven't been seeing eye to eye lately and I don't know why. As I go to messages from the past....your attitude towards me has changed..and I don't know why. That's how I feel right now...I mean you say you don't have that many people to talk to....I'm right here...at church today the message included this little reference where God's always there for you....it's just that you decide to walk past him and forget about it. But he's ALWAYS there. i feel this is kinda the same...I'm always here for you, and I've let you know that...yet you continue to walk past me...then say you have nobody to talk to...I dunno where to go from here with you....you make it so hard when it can be so simple...it's getting harder and harder to keep up with you and muster up the strength to keep this thing going...but you won't even help me out....like I'm hanging from a cliff about to fall....you're right there yet you choose to ignore me...c'mon now.....damn.

From The Heart: Memories

Real talks, time for me to rant again.....so as reading week ends, I think the highlight of my week was today...I visited my elementary school and my teacher who I met in grade 6 and have been close with ever since. I contemplated to go or not cuz I havent been since grade 12 so like a year. I helped him through all 4 years of high school volunteering for his sports teams. Honestly he's made such an impact in my life and the only teacher I really respect and definitely look up to. But anyways....on to our conversation...we were talking about the future...and memories. Our volleyball team in grade 8 was one of the closest for sure...he got me thinking cuz now he has a kid and bad knees so it's ahrd for him. He use to stay late for practises and I remember me and my friend would walk home late and night. Fun times...we would have a bunch of team dinners and just laugh. Now he told me that it's not the same and I get it....cuz kids are selfish and ish and they don't really care. We weren't the most talented or tallest kids, but we had heart and we all cared. Just thinking of the memories really hit me. Failing tests and him making us redo it to pass or not play, the tiring and long practises that we all hated but loved. It got me thinking wow.....time really flies. Think back to elementary school, all the kids, teachers....do you still keep in contact with them? When you enter high school, its coordinated by elementary schools, but what if you're a new kid and you don't know anybody? Anyways....thinking back to high school now... I knew a lot of people, but how many of them could I actually call up and say hey wanna have lunch, wanna chill? Honestly you can be the most popular person in school, but you still need close friends you can just sit around and do nothing with. Looking back, yeah I knew a lot of people, but most of those people were hi/bye people or casual conversation people. You only get one group or a few close people you can just chill with and be like hey whatchu doing, I'm bored...wanna just chill, watch tv, hang. I dunno, just the talk with my teacher really hit me hard....In elementary school you know everybody and it's easy to talk to people cuz you know EVERYONE...no joke....in high school, you know most people and you'll get to know more people but there'll be some people you don't know. In uni...you know the people you brought with you and you'll meet a few others, other than that everyone else is a stranger. Even the professors, you'll prob only really get to know 1 or 2 though you have a bunch throughout your years. Man.....the homework is already enough and now we gotta think about our future and our lives and ish. I know this rant is all over the place but I have so many words to let out that I don't wanna forget any of them. So yeah we were talking about our volleyball team back then and the memories and the dinners and it was deep. I met one of my friends in elementary school and I found out we lived near each other...from basketball everyday in the summer at my house to football late at night and diving on people's grass. Gaming at lunch, jumping over fences to fetch the basketball....and then we made it to high school and now we go to the same university. Real talks close friends...are valuable...its crazy. Yeah you may drift or become not as close but you'll always be able to hit them up no matter how long you haven't talked for and just be like hey whats good wanna chill, hey im not feeling good, wanna talk? This is the shortened version of my rant if you can believe it, but yeah...our talk came to an end and he was like yeah I still keep in touch with my high school buddies and it's crazy...4 years together...or more....damn....I don't know what the moral of my rant is....it's just to get my feelings out....it you actually read all the way to here and congrats to you and I appreciate it..to conclude....I guesss just think about your old school days...your best friends...you still keep in touch? If not...do you know what happened to them? Who're your best friends now? I sound really corny I know lol, too many tv shows like Boy Meets World where kids grow up with each other and end up being the best man for the dude's wedding and other sappy ish...but yeah....if you're reading this...damn...you got some time on your hands... :)

Today's been a really busy yet slow day for me....so I'm taking this time to talk to y'all. I've been loafting on all my projects and assignments and I got huge one due monday, 2 due tuesday and I gotta catch up on all my lectures but at the same time my first year is almost over..damn....I end in like April or end of April...something like that, but as I reach 5000 soon time...whenever it may be I continue to appreciate the support I receive and the shoutouts I get from people saying good job, etc. But real talks, this is just me.....the music and ish...is just me... my hobbies...the things I like...but it's nice to hear all that...thanks.

Well yesterday was the closing act in allstar weekend...the 60th annual allstar game. It was pretty exciting, but mostly competitive through and through as both teams wanted to win. So as I go through the whole Fresh Prince series, I find myself at season 4, episode 24...Papa's Got A Brand New Excuse... I said before I don't do this for the hits, popularity or to get noticed. I do this mostly for myself but at the same time for other people. For myself....as in to express myself...for others...to give them a glimpse of my life...to inspire, motivate, teach them. Anyways I'm glad that the blog has become what it is and I'm glad I've began to take it seriously. I'll never know who visits the blog on a regular basis, from time to time or occasionally....beside from the people who tell me, but I appreciate support in all forms....even if you're a hater....everybody plays a part in where the blog is at today.....thanks and I'll keep giving you my heart. - this song is too bomb...Jeremih kills the chrous and I love soft rap songs like Lloyd Banks - Karma feat. Avant...this reminds me of tat

3) Big Sean - Memories
- inspiration, motivation...hits me hard....damn....again I love the soft rap touch, I dunno why....and his voice sounds emphasized in this sounds which really makes you focus on the lyrics....

- both these songs made this list cuz it's too bomb...he goes too deep and honestly every line is worthy of saving, memorizing or putting on facebook....damn...

The Road To 4000 Hits!!!

As you can see on the archive bar (right side that says the title of all the posts) you'll see there was already 119 posts in ONLY January....and we had 197 for all of 2010....I began to take this blog seriously late 2010 and I regret it but at the same time it's a good reflection tool for the end of 2011. At this rate....who knows how many posts we'll get too by the end of 2011...but that's not the point cuz my goal isn't to give you as many posts as possible. I don't just wanna give you random garbage, I wanna give you things I feel should be seen/heard/viewed. As well I want you to get to know me and to broaden your minds and to appreciate the music I listen to and the process in which it is made...poetry. That being said...this blog...is my life...my soul....my heart. I use facebook as a means to advertise it and my msn name has the link as well. The hits are really a minimal concern to me, it's just a nice add-on, it doesn't matter how many people view my blog, it's how much you get out of it. So the point of this was just to say that I feel like 2011 is going to be a big year for the blog...I'm getting more and more serious about it and I have a lot of things planned which I will hopefully follow through on lol. I appreciate every hit, every view, every click, or whatever. Whether you tell your friends to check it out cuz there is something cool on it or because you think it's lame and I'm trying to hard...I appreciate support in all shapes and forms.....keep it up. Love y'all.....without you guys, I'd be posting, checking and reading all these things by myself. :)
