Wake Up, Wake Up, Mr. West Is In The Building....

http://thatgrapejuice.net/2010/10/kanye-west-talks-the-illuminati/#more-21469

Kanye talks about the illuminati....he's deeper than many people give him credit. He's also more intelligent than you may think if you don't solely judge him by his actions.

Top 5 Songs At The Moment

It's that time again where I give you 5 songs that I've been constantly bumpin' on my iPod & iTunes...like always, in no particular order...

Toni Braxton - Hands Tied
No matter how old she is or getting, the girl can still bring it like she was in her prime. You also gotta admit she doesn't look half bad either...either way this song is bangin'.

Chingy - Pullin' Me Back feat. Tyrese/One Call Away feat. Jason Weaver
Yeah for this one Chingy just went in on me and chose the perfect dudes to compliment him on the chorus....which is what really draws me to both songs, the chorus but both songs in its entirety are hot either way.

Drake - Closer To My Dreams feat. Andreena Mills/Successful feat. Lil Wayne, Trey Songz
Both songs hit me hard and are so inspiring. They both talk about making it big and being successful you know and hater and people tryna bring you down by any means. Damn....this is real.

Kanye West - Christian Dior Denim Flow feat. Kid Cudi, Pusha T, John Legend, Lloyd Banks, Ryan Leslie
What can I say about this song....or even 'Ye in general....this man is killing the game right now....if you haven't seen his short film 'Runaway' I STRONGLY encourage you to do so, it's posted below somewhere if you scroll down and I rant about how creative and ish he is, but word.....his album is gonna go big, even if he is competing with Nicki and can't remember who else.

Usher - Lay You Down
Usher is prob one of the undisputed Kings of R&B, he's been in the game for so long and is still producing hits...this one in my opinion doesn't disappoint.

Bonus: Lloyd - Lay It Down
No relation to Usher's song, but this song is booomb....and catchy as hell....Mr. Lloyds too, damn....I guess braids aren't in anymore? Just ask Luda, Omarion, Trey, Mario, Busta to name a few....and now Lloyd...hahaha

G.O.O.D MUSIC

Y'all really don't understand the icon that is Kanye West. Yeah he's made his mistakes and dick moves but the man is a genius literally. He's artistic both visually and lyrically, he sees things in ways no one else does. Yeah there are rumours and ish that scare me about him and the Illuminati and errthing but do say that his music sucks because of that is really idiotic. Despite whether he's "sold his soul to the devil" or not, his music is really inspirational and deep and meaningful, something that a lot of artists leave out in their music nowadays (referring to the artists who constantly rap about money, cars, girls). Kanye touches on deeper subjects and inserts very subtle messages into his videos and songs that only a select few of people pick out. His videos are often a visual portrayal of his life and he always has an inspiring and thought-provoking message to send. I won't go deeper into the whole Illuminati thing, but there are videos that break down Kanye's songs and videos that perhaps he's trying to escape but can't or he will be killed. Yeah, it's as serious as it sounds, but real talks Kanye West has revolutionized the industry and will no doubt go down as one of the greats. The following is a short webisode/documentary that features the debut of Kanye West's "Runaway" as well as snippets of his other songs that he includes.

Be-You-Tiful

Ss this is another food for thought song by J. Cole called The Blow Up. This song is motivation to my heart man....real talks J is a beast with words and if you don't listen to the whole song which I STRONGLY advise you do, at least listen to his last verse....real words of wisdom. "Be yourself that's why it sounds be-you-tiful."

Who is Mysterion?

LOL kk so if you don't watch South Park, theres an episode based on the movie "The Dark Night" where Cartman is Batman but theres a next dude names Mysterion and it's kinda hard to explain but its soooo jokes....the episode is called "The Coon" hahahahahaha....

Drizzy Knows Best!

So I'm a big magazine collector from basketball magazines like "Slam" to music magazines like "XXL". So XXL mags, the last page usually had a picture of a person and a quote to go with it, but I guess they decided to do a new thing now where they interview an artist ish and get them to fill in blanks with their own opinions. So the first one I ever read was coincidentally Drake and he had some interesting things to say.....the one that stood out to me was of course "I need a woman who understands life better than I do." My life story right there.....

Jhevon Paris - Neva Eva feat. August Rigo

So both of these are the same song by the same artist featuring the same artist but one is slowed down. The first one as you can see if the one they decided to go with and its a more fast paced version. I really can't decide which one is better lol.....either way, bangin' song.

Bangin' Artist of the Moment

So Stevie Hoang is a British-Chinese R&B artist and he can siiing...I found him a long while ago on one of my music sites and he had a few good songs and never really paid much attention until I started going through my old music folders again and I heard him. After that I started playing him again and dl'ing his songs again.....he is niiiiice. The first songs that got me hooked were "Addicted" and "No Games"....now I'm bumpin' "Ex Player feat. Kay M", "No Coming Back" and "Shawty". Don't overlook him, trust....he can sing.

Throwback Jams of the Week

Toni Braxton - He Wasn't Man Enough For Me

Jagged Edge - Where Da Party At feat. Nelly

Fabolous - Trade It All feat. Diddy, Jagged Edge

New Edition - Hot 2Nite

Come Get This Pleasure

So among all this hype for the title of top R&B crooner, the stage is pretty much filled with talent from the likes to Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Usher...and nuff talented cats that are vying to be the center of attenton. With that said, one of my dudes that I feel kinda disappeared from the scene is Pleasure P, he went solo from his bros and the group Pretty Ricky and had a solid career but it's somewhat died down mainstream wise, but he has the underground people buzzing. So take a listen at the songs of his that I'm bumping at the moment.

Rock Bottom feat. Lil Wayne

Show Me The Way To Surrender My Heart...

So I'm really reevaluating the reason I created this blog and the title of this blog...this is called THE BEST YOU NEVER HEARD...so I'm gonna not really stop, but not post as much mainstream or things that are already out there, but instead try to post more things that are overlooked and not seen as widely....as well it's a glimpse into the things I cherish in my life....so here we go , I'll try to update as often as I can but I sometimes forget or am busy and I don't wanna rush and post something stupid....

What's On Your Ipod? (Top 5)

Wow it seems like I haven't updated this thing like a month....but I guess I've just been settling down with school and getting the hang of things.....so here are my top 5 songs of the moment.....in no particular order...

J. Cole - It Won't Be Long
- this dude just goes hard and goes deep every song he hops on....the beat doesn't have to be bangin' but he still spits raw anbd real ish...

Kanye West.....yeah....not any song in particular but Kanye West in general....his whole G.O.O.D Friday is amazing....releasing a new song every friday is sketchy because sometimes it causes people to rush it and not put in their best effort, but Mr. West goes raw in all his tracks from "Devil in a New Dress" "So Apalled (Remix)" "Runaway" "All of the Lights"....just to name a few.....real talks he's got me excited every friday for what he's coming up with next and today being friday....LET'S GO KANYE....I'M READY.....

Stevie Hoang - No Coming Back
- no he's not black, yes he is asian...but the dude can sing....and this song kinda grew on me

Craig David - I'm Sorry (I Don't Love You No More)
- this song may be old, but this isn't top 5 new songs...it's top 5 that I'm jamming to right now....

Lastly.....
JR Aquino - By Chance (You & I)
- now not all of you may know who he is, but he's a youtube singer and he's a beast......some of his covers that I like are "Billionaire" and "Teenage Dream/Just The Way You Are", but since you aren't familiar with him....here's his original song "By Chance"

With My Love I Can Feed Her Soul

Lil Wayne - With You feat. Drake
