Sorry for giving you only one post yesterday, but I was busy with work and reading, I had no life after school yesterday and I got home at like 2 ish and started reading my book for a book review which I found out was due today at midnight, so I could've loafted more LOL, but none the less I'm 800+ words in and I have to get to at least 1250....not too bad, as well I'm going through a lot of stuff right now so yeah lol but I'll be blogging more today I hope, even though I have to finish my review thing and got ish to do later tonight as well.

You know there's always that one person you talk to....tends to be of the opposite sex...who just brightens your day and makes you feel better. Real talks, you could be having the worst day of your life and nothing's going write, but a simple hi or smile can literally make your heart feel warm. Now I'm not saying you have to like this girl, but something about her or him just radiates positivity and happiness. You could like him/her as well that would just be a bonus. But anyways, we all have one person, that we can always turn to, we may not be super tight or close with that person but something about them just makes the pain go away. Now for me, this girl....I just love talking to her...no matter what's going on, I don't even have to explain it to her, she just gets how I feel and comforts me. You know some girls will listen and not really understand, care or try to help. Some girls will give you lame responses, but this girl can simply sense when somethings wrong and will ask. I dunno why, but things haven't been going great lately for me and to top it off with school and waking up early....yeah....not a good time in my life right now...lol. But talking to this person today just made me realize that I have a lot of things going for me and when I say to focus on the good things in your life, I should really live that as well. But anyways....this goes out to my girl...for having my back and legit making my day...and giving me something to look forward to and think about to get through this week.

As you read this....picture yourself waking up in the morning and putting on my shoes. Taking the bus to school every morning and zoning out from the people in the bus so it's only you and your music. You go to school but you find it hard to pay attention. You struggle to maintain your slightly above average grades. You find yourself unmotivated in class, tempted to sleep, or do other unproductive things. You find yourself left behind with too much to catch up and your laziness hits you and convinces you to do things more fun instead of the more productive but boring things. You would rather be anywhere than at school cuz it's depressing and the only thing that keeps you coming back are the people that go there. Now don't take off my shoes just yet, but instead take a walk deeper into the forrest and get to know the real me. You find yourself keeping a lot of things in, withholding information from the people you hold closest. There are very little to no people you can tell your lifestory to or act like a fool in front of.

From The Heart: Family (I Need Some New Girl Friends Part 2)
The word family...to me can be used for numerous people. There are my blood family....my church fam, my school fam, my boys, things like that. Right now my church fam is really letting me down. At this point I don't care who reads what, this ain't a knock on everybody because some people I've gotten really close to and some people are still there for me. But real talks the girls at church are some of the closest I keep around but they are either too busy, wrapped up with other things which is understandable, to naive or lazy to respond or just weird in general. Again this ain't a knock on the whole just how I'm feeling right now and the ish that's been going on. I don't even know what I'm saying right my mind is half gone and I'm half asleep. I've drifted away from some of my church bro's as it is and I hate to lose any others, but at this point....it doesn't matter. I care so much about these people that lately....it just takes too much effort for the returns that I get. Again this ain't speaking to the whole cuz I've gotten close to many people...my boys....my kids....my dudes....I loove these kids and I can't wait to see each one of them grow up....these kids are gonna be amazing people and I'm super happy to be getting close to them now. As well my bro's....my bredgins....these guys are jokes....real ballers with swag...hahaha I love these guys too, they're fun to be around and game with and talk to lol. I dunno I guess the drama and disappointment comes mostly (MAINLY -_-) from the girls. Some I talk to on and off cuz they got their own ish to deal with and sometimes we're so into and it and sometimes we drift apart. Another one I've gotten really close to and am so glad to have gotten as close as I have but she irritates me at times to with her slow if not no responses....but overall still good to talk to. Lastly....this one is probably the most important of them all, no offence, but she doesn't realize it...though she should since I've emphasized it and told her and explained it in every way possible besides using different languages. Anyways I won't go into further detail or expose names but this is what led to me saying I need new girl friends....my dudes are the only ones holding me down at this point and I enjoy being around them. The girls are just....wasting my time....that's the best way to put it. I don't know what else to say but uh....maybe it's the lack of sleep talking or the lack of brain functioning that's getting me hyped or whack like this....but I think I have a point somewhere in this crazy rant...I do make sense don't I? Anyways....these are the times where I enjoy being alone or to myself with just my thoughts....no music even....just my thoughts and a blank screen open...and maybe a select VERY few people to talk to. As usual I appreciate you if you took the time to read this...or skim through it..or even just scroll all the way to the bottom just to see how much I read...this is my heart, my soul and my thoughts...on the spot, nothing but real, no scripts....straight from the heart.

You gotta learn to live life focusing on the positives cuz if you dwell in sorrow...you ain't gonna go nowhere. My dad once told me if you go into a battle with the mindset that you're gonna lose, or you're hesitant of your skill....than you've already lost. Half the battle is mental and you have to enter with confidence, but not cockiness....know the difference. Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything. That's not a cliche but that's some real talks.....why do you think every other rapper claims to be the best.....you have to set high standards for yourself in order to become someone....even if you don't succeed....think of how high you'l have reached simply by trying. Which also reminds me of the quote by Kanye West "People say you can't please everybody, I say why not try...think of all the people you will please in the process." Artist of the Moment
So if you don't know who this guy is then you're prob not into mainstream music I guess...this dude is Iyaz...now I wasn't really crazy over him after his song "Replay" but it was a catchy song. What really got me was his 2 features.....one being with Charice on the song Pyramid and another on a song with Stevie Hoang called Fight For You. After that I've been youtubing his songs and I dl'ed a bunch of them....the dude can sing and his voice reminds me of Akon....not bad. That being said, he is the artist of the moment cuz I'm bumpin' his songs nonstop.

Here are some old school movies who prob have never met #1 at the box office cuz of the lack of promotion and ish, but hey not every box office movie is good.....anyways yeah here are some old movies which in my opinion are pretty sick..
Surviving The Game
- a homeless man (Ice-T) is recruited to be a hunting guide for a bunch of rich people, they fly him to a remote island where he thinks hes helping them hunt, but in actual....they're hunting him.....it's a pretty sick action/thriller.
Above The Rim
- prob the most ghetto black music you'll ever see....talks about gang violence, things like that....basically a young basketball star is torn between the good and bad side, I don't remember it thoroughly but its a sick movie and 2Pac's in it...
White Men Can't Jump
- hahhahahaa....another ghetto basketball movie.....basically Wesley Snipes is sick at ball and he loses to the white guy and convinces him to hustle other people for money.....the tagline is "It's not about black, it's not about white, it's about green." lOOLL hahaha

That is what is up!!!! A new year means we got to do it bigger than the last. As usual I'm gonna blog everyday and as much as I can, but at the same time I'm not gonna give you no random ish for the sake of blogging but I'm gonna put my heart into every post and every word written on this blog. The first one of the new year, here are 5 songs right now that I can't get enough of....
1) Chris Brown - Yeah 3x
- so it seems like everyone's taking the dance/techno approach to their songs now from Ne-Yo - Closer and Usher - DJ Got Us Falling In Love, seems like everyones hopping on that band wagon. But anyways this song didn't really catch my eye at first until my friend blasted it in his car and it started to grow on me lol.
2) Charice - Pyramid feat. Iyaz
- you saw me post it a while ago, so you know it had to be on this list. This girl can siiiiing.....if only she had a version of Baby out there like her cover....but for now this song is baaaangin.....
3) Kanye West - Good Friday feat. Common, Pusha T, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Charlie Wilson/Don't Look Down (The Phoenix Story) feat. Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, Big Sean
- obv Kanye would make this list for the millionth time....the dude can simply do no wrong....and when you have supporting casts like that....damn....
4) Usher - U Remind Me
- this takes me waaaay back, but Usher was the maaan back then....nobody else was even near him....and this song was just a sample of why the ladies were screaming his name
5) Trey Songz - Bottoms Up feat. Nicki Minaj
- Mr. Steal Your Girl is stealing the last place on this list and the fact that the diiirtiest female rapper in the game is featured doesn't hurt either

Def Jam Poetry - Common
So I'm not sure if I've ever posted Def Jam Poetry before but it's absolutely sick. Artist's go on stage and recite poetry or song lyrics pretty much, notable names such as Kanye West, DMX, Dave Chapelle and Jamie Foxx have all done it. Clip Of The Moment
So I've never seen this movie but I've heard nothing but good things. They finally showed Wall-E on TV and I decided to watch it....honestly such a sad/cute/happy movie...LOL. The movie is about a trash compact robot named Wall-E who falls in love with a high tech robot named EVE....it's hard to explain, watch the trailer...but this part is the ending, which is also the CUTEST part of the entire movie and saddest part of the entire movie....
